Accountant

Verify documents for formal, accounting, and tax compliance.
Handle the invoice approval process, including document registration and forwarding invoices for approval through an external document workflow system.
Assign accounting codes to accounting documents.
Cooperate with the accounting office during the implementation of the ERP system.
Record purchase invoices, bank statements, and internal accounting documents (PK) in the ERP system after the implementation phase.
Verify and settle business travel expenses and reimbursements for employee-incurred costs.
Prepare payments.
Support the preparation of tax returns, as well as reports and statements for Statistics Poland (GUS) and the National Bank of Poland (NBP).
Reconcile general ledger account balances and perform ongoing analysis of accounts receivable and payable.
Prepare data for financial analyses and reports.
Actively participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Provide support during audits and in financial reporting.
Cooperate with the headquarters and provide ongoing support for accounting processes.
Participate in the development, optimization, and standardization of accounting processes.
Participate in the implementation of the ERP system.

Experience in an accounting position.
Experience in a manufacturing company; experience in an international environment is an advantage.
Very good knowledge of accounting and tax regulations.
Responsibility for assigned tasks.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of English.
