Purchasing Specialist (m/f/x)

Responsibilities:

  • Support the procurement team in sourcing materials, components, and services required for production and the operation of the facility.
  • Process purchase orders and maintain up-to-date procurement data in the ERP system.
  • Monitor order statuses and delivery schedules to ensure timely supply.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding quotations, order confirmations, and delivery updates.
  • Support supplier selection, qualification, and evaluation processes.
  • Assist with commercial negotiations and the collection of market intelligence.
  • Prepare procurement reports, analyses, and KPI metrics.
  • Work closely with Production, Planning, Logistics, Warehouse, Quality, Maintenance, HSE, and Finance departments.
  • Maintain procurement documentation and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within procurement processes.

Requirements:

  • Initial experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, administration, customer service, or a similar business environment will be considered an advantage.
  • University degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Very good command of English, enabling daily communication in an international environment.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn and develop in the field of procurement.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
