Junior HSE Specialist (m/f/x)

Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) standards at the manufacturing site.
  • Assist in preparing, reviewing, and updating HSE procedures, work instructions, and occupational risk assessments.
  • Conduct workplace inspections and safety observations to ensure compliance with legal regulations and company requirements.
  • Monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Support the collection, analysis, and reporting of HSE performance indicators.
  • Conduct initial health and safety training for new employees and support the coordination of mandatory training programs.
  • Assist in organizing and promoting campaigns and initiatives aimed at increasing safety awareness and strengthening the safety culture.
  • Maintain HSE documentation, training records, and employee certification records.
  • Support the investigation and analysis of incidents and accidents, as well as the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Cooperate with subcontractors, visitors, and external service providers to ensure compliance with safety requirements applicable at the site.
  • Assist in chemical management, waste management processes, and environmental protection activities.
  • Participate in internal and external audits and monitor the implementation of post-audit actions.
  • Support the supervision of fire protection equipment and emergency systems.
  • Promote and support the implementation of 5S standards in the workplace.

Requirements:

  • University degree or current student status in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Protection, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations and environmental protection requirements.
  • Communicative English skills enabling effective work in an international environment.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Responsibility, initiative, and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Spanish will be considered an advantage.
